Under One Botswana Sky is happy to announce that the new Delta camp, Rra Di Nare is now OPEN! The new camp is located adjacent to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve on the south-eastern side of the Okavango Delta, overlooking the Gomoti River.
Luxurious tented rooms
The best way to become one with nature is by sleeping in one of the 8 Luxurious tents or the family tent. The canvas clad suites overlook the Gomoti River floodplains ensuring that you never miss any wildlife action. A lovely finishing touch is the plush outdoor shower in each abode.
Abundance of wildlife
Rra Dinare is positioned on the South-East side of the greater game area of the Okavango Delta. This provides an interesting experience where sightings of large animals and small are common. The lodge overlooks a water saturated area where there is prolific birdlife, roaming antelope and curious elephants. Buffalo are also quite plentiful, hence the inspiration for the camp’s name, and there are two resident dugga boys that hang around the area. The lion in the region are also big and the resident pride have become specialists at bringing down giraffe which is quite a feat for the cats and requires them to work as a team. Staff at camp even reported a leopard kill under one of the room decks recently!
Relaxing at the main Lodge
The Main Lodge is perfectly designed to encourage just lounging around or chilling next to the sparkling new swimming pool. Elevated walkways link the rooms to the main lodge except for the last two units on the northern end where the path drops down to ground level allowing passing game to get though.
The fire pit creates an idyllic setting for sharing wildlife stories with other guests after a great day exploring the Delta. And the cherry on top… admiring a beautiful African sunset while listening to distant hyena calls.
